I got my new Versa yesterday, got it set up and everything perfectly. And still worked fine up until my phone (Huawei Mate SE, an Android) said it had an update ready (updating to Android 8.0). Since then, my phone will NOT sync with my Versa 😞 I've literally tried everything. Resetting both my phone and Versa, multiple times. I even factory reset my Versa again to see if it would work, and no luck. I don't know what to do!

I also have a a Huawei mate 9. I haven't done a software update but I am having the same issue. It was syncing but now it won't even though I haven't changed anything .

My eleven day old Versa suddenly stopped syncing yesterday afternoon. It would not sync with my phone or my PC. I finally decided to restart it and it started syncing again. You might give it a try. Good luck!

Did you guys unpair and repair the Versa from bluetooth settings? Also, logout of your app and log back in. Another thing you could try is clearing the storage cache of the fitbit app.

Unfortunately those two Huawei phones are not on the Supported Devices List. Huawei phones have real problems syncing their bluetooth with some devices and unfortunately fitbits are one of them. Often unsupported phones will work in a patchy manner or may work until and update comes along. All you can do (with these phones) is try all the suggested troubleshoots in THIS help article and hope it works. Sorry it is not better news.
Other phones are generally more forgiving, but some dont work well, so check on the list above and try the troubleshoots as well.

Unfortunately I've tried everything suggested on this forum with no success so it may well be that my phone is the problem

HI! I have a Samsung s7 edge and I just got updated to 8.0 and now I cannot receive call notifications. Before when I was on 7.0 I could receive all notifications flawlessly. Now, will 8.0 I will only get call notifications after the call has ended and I will receive a missed called notifications but never while the call is in process. Any solutions? About to return this device.
