I have updated the app, I can't recall if I had the issue days before that, or if it's only seemingly after updating..
On my Android it tells me in the notification bar - fitbit sync service -last synced on _______ .
However, for the life of me- I can't get the the freaking fit bit logo /message to stop popping up on my Android pull down bar. I can dismiss it, I can tell it to sync, go to account and it'll clear away ... And then within 5-10 minutes it's back telling me to sync my Fitbit . It tells me when the last time it has synced, today is 8/24 and it synced up on 8/24 last.
When I go into the app, I pull down to refresh/sync information that all seems to work like normal.
I've turned my phone off and back on.
I've logged in and out of my account.
I've rebooted my versa.
What else ?!

HI, it's not you or your fitbit... the Update was bad. it's been bad since the beginning of the month. Please read more posts as there are a lot of problems and everyone is waiting for the update. Sorry to hear that your Fitbit it not working.
I ended up switching to an Apple watch after all the "restarts, resets and un-installing app to re-installing app... ect" I got tired of it.
