Versa synced but not receiving notifications

My phone and Versa are actively syncing but I am not receiving any notifications. The fitbit app does not give options to turn notifications on or off for messaging, phone calls, email, or my calendar. Bluetooth is connected, do not disturb is not enabled, and all my app notifications are turned on on my phone. I've gone through the troubleshooting guides and can't figure this out.

My verse lite and iPhone are paired together. The Bluetooth is on. But I’m not receiving notifications. I have gone to account and clicked the notifications and sync all day and it only swirls around the little circle that tells you it’s doing something. But it never does. I have tried to delete my versa and repair it and still same thing. Help please

Kcoke:  When I had the problem where the Versa wasn’t receiving notifications, I somehow restarted my iPhone, which is one of the things I do in problems like this. Push and hold the sleep/wake button (or for iPhone X and up, press and hold the right and left top buttons until the shutdown prompt appears. Slide the button to the right. The phone shuts down.  Wait about 15 seconds, then press the top or right button until the phone restarts.  After you’re fully restarted, your Versa may start getting a storm of notifications! That’s what happened to me.  If so, you may not have to do this again.

However, this is NOT related to the problem where you can’t clear notifications off the watch.  Rather than tell you to go somewhere else for that solution, here it is:

On the watch only, swipe the watch face to the left until you see the Settings icon, then tap on it.

Swipe UP until you see “About”. Tap “About” and swipe up until you see “Shutdown”.  Tap Shutdown, and the watch will Shutdown. This is not the same as Factory Reset.  If you push and hold the left button on the watch, it will restart.

After restarting, the problem of inability to clear notifications should be solved.

However, DO NOT clear future notifications ON THE PHONE! This may cause the Versa to be unable to clear all notifications again, and you will have to do the “Shutdown” thing again.  Be prepared to do this again until the proper fix is released by FitBit.

Thank you!!  This issue has been driving me crazy.  My settings must've changed after I performed an update.  I never went to the last screen to allow FitBit notifications. Thanks, again!!

One possible solution: Hold the left single button for 2 seconds until it vibrates and brings up the Screen Wake and Notifications button - then you should see if Notifications are on or off and you can tap to change.

Huh!! I just did this, and yes, notifications were off. I just received
my first text on my FitBit in months. It was driving me crazy because it
worked for so long then it stopped. Probably the same issue, turned it off
on accident.

Thank you for responding!!!

Thank you for this. I also inadvertently turn my notifications off.

Ahhhh, thank you!! I don't remember turning notifications off there, and frankly, I think it must have happened accidentally. I was going through all sorts of more complicated things to fix this issue. THANK YOU for this info. I seriously would have never found that. So stinking simple too.
