Versa text replies and iPhone

Will the Versa text message reply options ever work with iPhone?  Or will that remain an Android only feature?

My question is this. I understand if we can’t reply. If we have the iPhone.  But why give the option for quick replies for then. I love my Fitbit Versa.

How long do you think before I can text from my Versa (I have an iPhone) because it’s really annoying that if I don’t have my phone on me I can’t reply to a text! Also will I be able to call on my Versa if apple lets Fitbit use the software that lets me send quick replies

This is why I returned my versa because of the text and call situation as I have an I phone. I put the extra and got a Apple Watch best thing ever.

I've thought about replacing my FitBit with an Apple Watch, but just love the FitBit ecosystem better. For me the FitBit community is more focused on fitness and health more than the Apple Watch. But I hope that it works out for you. It's all about finding something that will help motivate you and hold you accountable so you can reach and maintain your fitness goals.

I got this as a gift. I’m not gonna return. I love my Fitbit. Maybe one
day I will get an Apple Watch.

I think you'll really enjoy the FitBit. I have been using a FitBit since 2014 and Love them. FitBit has always been amazing when it comes to customer service. As long as your FitBit is less than a year old if anything goes wrong they will replace it. They offer an extended 2 year warranty too. I suggest joining some of the groups on the FitBit app because the FitBit community is really one of the best things about owning a FitBit. Hope you have a Safe, Happy, and Healthy New Year!

You've got to remember who they are dealing with. I love Apple. My first computer was a Mac. I even had a Newton, but Apple is hard to deal with. Especially when it is their competition. I bet it is not from a lack of trying on FitBit's end. I looked into getting a Apple watch, but decided to stay loyal to FitBit. I don't need a Dick Tracy or GoGo Gadget watch to distract me. All I need is a good fitness tracker and that is what FitBit delivers.

I’m in the same position would really like to be able to use the answer calls and texts from my iPhone should be a important issue for Fitbit to resolve and intergrate for the iPhone

If you want to pay what it costs I would invest in iPhone. Answering texts was not a deal breaker. The cost was and changing bands on fit bit is awful. I still like mine and what it does

I returned the fit bit and purchased an Apple Watch. I do miss the sleep app with the fit bit. The Apple Watch does have a sleep app but it does not show REM sleep, but at least now I can respond to text messages!
