Versa time not updating battery draining

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've only been using my versa for 6months. Few days ago I noticed the battery draining quite fast. Today the time would not sync. I can't seem to update it using WiFi or Bluetooth. What's the problem??

Hi @MittaKaren - it is probably the moment to restart both the watch and phone, to make sure they are working optimally. The sync is done via Bluetooth generally and after a restart and sync it should set the time, unless there was a time zone change when a different process is needed sometimes.

Thank you for the reply and suggestions. I will try that. I received my
versa as a Christmas present. I'm not very sure how to operate it. Can you
advice how to turn it off? Thanks.

@MittaKaren- see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

You can also use Shutdown from the watch Settings, About menu. Wait at least 10 seconds [to allow it to complete] before placing it on charge to restart it and charge it. If it's already charged just push the button for a second and wait.

I did all of that. Then uninstall and reinstall the app then tried to pair
the Bluetooth then realised it was the Bluetooth that wouldn't pair so
thats why it couldn't sync. So how do I pair it?? It just wouldn't although
I've got my car speaker pair perfectly on my phone ..

@MittaKaren  - you can't pair the watch in Bluetooth, it is done via the Fitbit App.

It is possible the watch is faulty but unusual for Bluetooth to stop.

If you have Versa in your phone's Bluetooth remove it.

Logout of the app and login. It should make a pair  and link.

If not , click on " Set up a Device " and replace it, this will attempt to find the Versa more aggressively.

I've been trying all day. Nothing works. It's beyond frustrating. I've
turned it off n on multiple times. The app can't seem to find my versa via
Bluetooth. Done everything that was suggested to me. My current time is
23:30 but my versa is showing 09:16 ... time is not updating. My steps are
not reflecting on the app in my phone. I'm done trying to figure it out.

@MittaKaren - it might need more drastic treatment to fix, chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

My time is off 1 hour. I did travel to a different time zone. It changed when I got to the other time zone but will not switch back.

What is the process to fix this?

Hi @antiquetrapjr - In the Fitbit App, click profile photo, App Settings,  turn off automatic time zone and location and set the time zone manually and then sync.

Afterwards you can set the settings back as they were.
