Versa to locked and deleted from phone

My daughter deleted everything off of my phone not realizing that my versa 2 was locked. Now I’m unable to unlock it and give it to someone else as I got a new watch. Please let me know how I can do factory reset and unlock the Fitbit in order to give to someone else.

Hi @Lezlielou  - you can only factory reset it to unlock it, and then you can give to someone else.

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support for help with that. Or link at the bottom of this post.

@Lezlielou   The following directions are marked as a Best Answer in an older post. (thread) 

• Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds
• When the Fitbit logo disappears
• Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds)
• Hold the button again until you feel a longer, second vibration

I can't find the post, but I'm very sure I've seen the same instructions in a moderator's answer.  Good luck.
