Versa tracked my steps and mileage but not as an activity.

I ran a marathon this past Sunday, was wearing my Versa and set up the tracker for a Run under Exercise. The tracker seemed to be recording the run properly, would count up the miles and minutes per. When I completed the run, there seemed to be no record of the activity. The run wouldn't upload to Strava, and I can't find the activity anywhere on the dashboard. Oddly enough, the dashboard DOES indicate that I ran 30+ miles and walked 50,000 steps, just doesn't have a recorded activity of it. No GPS file or anything.

What gives?

Hello @Jackmoli, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Tell me, is this the first time you've experienced this situation? If so, it's possible that the exercise got paused when moving your wrist, which prevented the activity to record correctly. In that case I would like to suggest you to wear your watch a bit upper on your wrist and monitor your next Run activity. Additionally, please restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. In the meantime, please track the Run activity you were missing by adding it manually. All the data recorded by your Versa at the time of Run will be added to that manual activity.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, please give these steps a try and let me know if there's anything else I can do for you, I'll be happy to continue helping you.

First time. I just got the watch. I'm fairly certain it wasn't paused because I would look down intermittently to track what mile I was on and my time, and it seemed to be functioning fine.

Hello @Jackmoli, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply and confirm with me your exercise was not paused accidentally, I really appreciate it. Smiley Happy

At this moment I would like to ask you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, then monitor your next Run and check the data shown in the summary after you finish it. Sync the activity and check if it's showing in the app, keep in mind that it might take up to 15 minutes for the information to show after syncing.

Let me know if you experience this issue again so I can determine what should we do next.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply.
