How is it that the Versa watch gives me 66 steps when I am sleeping in my bed? I am very disappointed in this Fitbit product. I have been a long time supporter of fitbit products, but this one has issues and way too many of them.

@Mazyman perhaps you're getting up at night? You can decrease your Versa's sensitivity by changing the Wrist Placement setting to Dominant (in the Fitbit mobile app). Make sure to sync your Versa after. Also, just in case, you can reboot your tracker several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes.

@Mazyman It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa tracked steps while you were sleeping. Let me follow up on this. I'd just like you to try the great troubleshooting steps that shared my friend @Marrrmaduke and test your Versa for the next 48 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep @Marrrmaduke and me posted on the outcome!

I bought my Versa the other day. This is the first time I've tried tracking sleep and when I woke up I had 123 steps already. Which was obviously annoying. Then I got up and dressed etc and came downstairs and now I have 715....
Its set to my dominant wrist.
And I'll try and reset my tracker and come back to you in 48 hrs.
Will keep you updated. P

@Lucy.S thanks! I noticed that certain types of movements cause extra steps for me, e.g. blow-drying my hair or doing dishes. Usually setting to Dominant shaves off a few steps here and there. Beside that, it's pretty accurate. 😊
