My Versa recorded 18,000 steps while I slept last night. It was on my nightstand where it is every night. It wasn't charging. I took a look at my dashboard online and on my iPhone, and found out that those steps aren't recorded! I woke up with 18,000 steps, but the log starts with the first steps I took out of bed. When I checked it (summing the steps for each bar in the graph) the actual step count was only 447.
This is the first time this happened, but it's quite disturbing. Any idea of a fix? Any way to delete the phantom steps? I'm a bit of a fanatic about reaching my step goal, and will need to track this on paper today.

I am having the same issue. For the last two nights, it's tracked 30K steps while it's sitting on my nightstand. I did a master reset, and it's still doing it.

Hey guys, @SunsetRunner and @Rhyser, I hope you are doin' great! If your Versa is tracking so many steps when you are not even wearing it, I'd like to ask you if there is a fan or anything that may have been buzzing or vibrating on the same surface that your watch was placed on? If so, please place the Versa on a different surface without any vibrations and let me know if the issue persists.
I'll be around!
