Versa tracking heart rate when not wearing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I noticed this morning that my Versa was showing a heart rate of 118 bpm but I haven’t worn it for 8+ hours. I found some help topics on the forum saying to turn off the heart rate sync but this doesn’t seem to be an option on the app or dashboard now. Can someone point me in the right direction of how to do this?

I also noticed this issue when not wearing my Versa. At that time my Versa watch face was facing up. So, I decided to place the watch face down and it no longer recorded a heart rate.

I recommend having the Versa watch face facing down when not wearing it.

It’s happened through the day whilst wearing saying at one point my HR was 136bp(it wasn’t!). It’s showing as constantly in the fat burn zone on the app even when I’ve put it face down as recommended. There’s definitely something wrong with the sensors!

Hi there,

I've had the same problem as yours.
The reply I get from the Fitbit Customer Support solved the problem.
The solution: RESTART THE TRACKER.

  • Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  • Let go of the buttons.

I did it for one time, and the sensor will not blink seconds after I took off my watch.

Hope this can help.
