Versa tracking high heart rate readings

Hi everyone,,

This is my first post, Sorry if I'm violating any community rules.

I think my Versa isn’t really accurate when it comes to heart rate monitoring. I’ve had it since last December. And i think these issues started few months later.

anyway, here is a video of my versa. I’m in bed, playing a relaxing video game, i look at my watch to check the time and my heart rate is 125 ! ( no way ) . I check it on my phone and it’s 68. So i start recording the video ( in link ).
anybody else facing this? Anyway to fix it? ( i’m updated to the latest firmware).

thanks in advance

@ASmart welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's tracking high heart rate readings.

I'd like you to restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, make sure of the following details:

  1. Your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
    • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
    • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.
  2. If you’re doing an exercise such as high-intensity interval training, boxing, or other activities that cause your arm to move vigorously, try to relax your wrist and stay still for up to 10 seconds until your heart rate appears.

After this, monitor your Versa and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀
