Versa tracking way too many active minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello I have had my Versa since October and it had been working great till up until last week it has been tracking way too many active minutes. I had read some threads on the issue and I already tried turning off the heart rate and restarting and logging out of app and turning off the phone and that didn’t work. I reset the Versa back to factory settings and re installed and that didn’t work. I’m so frustrated with this. I love Fitbit products this is my 3rd one but don’t know what else to try.

@Minimyy at this point your best option would be reaching out to Customer Support, I'm afraid.

Hey @_ryno_, thanks for your reply! I really appreciate you have taken the time to contact our Support team. If the issue is with heart rate monitor, as they have confirmed, I guess that they gave you another option to fix this, am I wrong? I'm sorry to hear that you are going through these inconveniences. The only option I can give you is to contact our Support team again. Let me know the outcome.

@Minimyy, thanks for trying to factory reset it. Have you tried to get in touch with our Support team for further help?

I'll be around guys!

@HeydyF

Thanks.

Ive  spoken with customer support several times, for at least 30 min each time.

They have no solution, and offered none. I am to wait for a “patch” for a problem that has been widely reported since last April.

I have stopped using my Versa, as it now has no value to me and Fitbit won’t fix/ replace/ address the issue. It’s sitting in a drawer. There are 6 Fitbit products in my family. What a shame they can’t stand behind their products.

Im using my older Blaze until I can buy a replacement from GARMIN.

Same issue! My HR rate just stopped working! I doubled check to make sure HR is on and I reset and reset to factory setting!!! Nothing not even a year old so disappointed! I wonder if the Apple Watche would be a better investment? I’m so disappointed with the Versa!

Update: I contacted the French customer service and they sent me a brand new device. Thanks for all your messages... and contact the customer service quickly if your Versa is still under guarantee.

I called customer support and they were able to instruct me on others way to troubleshoot problem. They asked me to go to settings turn off HR then sync through the App. Then to turn on the HR and sync through the App. That seemed to work so I'm super excited I hope that it continues to work.

Thanks

My fitbit has been tracking off the charts active minutes, whether I am sitting walking or doing exercise. Since Saturday I have had 200 Active minutes on an average. Just wearing the phone on hand it is tracking active minutes and impossible heart rate.

I have done factory reset twice, cleaned the fitbit surfaces up and down, removed and reinstalled the device and nothing happened.

Hiya,  and thank you for your reply .

As it’s been six months (and they have now released a versa 2) I’m Curious if a patch or update was ever applied to the original versa...  i’m also wondering if the versa two has addressed this issue before I go spending more money on a company that doesn’t back up their products.

I am having the same issue with my versa. I wake up with active minutes. I have reset and the issue continues.

Same problem here!  Seems like the problems started after the update.  Still running my butt off if you ask my Versa...🙄
