Versa tracks high heart rate readings

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the past two weeks my versa is showing my heart rate between 114-167 when I am resting. Whenever I do extreme exercise it reads 124, no higher, even when I can’t catch my breath. I’m laying here in bed and it’s giving me a reading of 167 bpm. I checked my pulse and it is 72 bpm.

I have the IPhone 7 Plus

@Carolyn2671 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's tracking high heart rate readings.

I'd like you to restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, make sure of the following details:

  • Your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
  • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Thanks for responding to my message. I restarted my Versa as you asked me too and that still did not resolve the problem. The heart rate monitor is still reading very high. It’s been reading between 117 and 157 all day even when I’m resting. I don’t have heart problem. A few minutes ago it went from 117 to 156 in a matter of seconds. This was one of the main reason I bought the versa but it’s nit helping. What should I do next?
