Versa tracks high heart rate readings

My heart rate on my versa is ready too high yesterday it went to 185 while watching tv. I have done all the tips for resetting and it hasn’t changed. It did this the other day so checked my heart rate and blood pressure and everything was Normal. Any tips. Do I need to send it back. I bought it in June and was working fine until now

I know for a fact that my heart rate has read 125 bpm after reading a disturbing email.

@lianda @Den_in_USA  it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you guys with the high heart rate readings issue that your Versa watches are experiencing. By the way, I appreciate the time spent troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you both to try a factory reset. To do so on your devices, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watches before this in order to avoid losing current data.

Finally, make sure of the following details:

  1. Your devices are positioned correctly on your wrists:
    • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
    • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.
  2. If you’re doing an exercise such as high-intensity interval training, boxing, or other activities that cause your arm to move vigorously, try to relax your wrist and stay still for up to 10 seconds until your heart rate appears.

Finally, monitor your Versa watches for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀
