Versa tracks high heart rate readings

Heart rate on my Versa is not working properly. It's recording a very high heart rate while I'm sitting. I've put on my mother in laws Fitbit Charge at the same time and it reads a significantly lower heart rate.

I've reset my Versa. It works for a while then the heart rate increases again.

Also, on the Dashboard, when I click into the heart rate section to look at my heart rate over different days, it has not recorded my heart rate for 3 days. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times, no change.

Please help me.

Hi @Bronagh24, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not tracking your heart rate accurately and it hasn't synced it for a few days. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, monitor your watch and see if it tracks your heart rate accurately and syncs the data to your Dashboard properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
