Hey! I wanted to see if anyone has had their versa turn on and work fine while charging, but shut off as soon as you unplug it. It says 100% battery when i pull it off the charger. I tried doing a hard rest but i just pops up with screen showing 0% battery life.

@Eddaybaybay welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it turns off when you unplug it from the charger. By the way, thank you for trying a hard reset before contacting our forums.
In order to avoid any confusion on my end and provide the same info, let me know how was the hard reset performed.
Please clean the contacts of your Versa and charger with a cotton swab in order to remove any dust since this may affect the charging process and doesn't allow your watch to keep its charge.
After this, try a regular restart. Please see the steps listed in this help article and let me know if your watch stays charged and on after unplugging it from the charger.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

@Eddaybaybay I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up and would like to know if you get any error message during the setup process. If so, please provide more details. Also, let me know what is the brand and model of your phone.
In the meantime, make sure that you are following the setup process as described in this help article.
Keep me posted!

My Versa just started doing the same thing. It should have at least 50% charge. it shows 100% on the charger and then shuts off. I have Samsung S10

Hi!
My Versa started doing the same thing. First, it started by randomly firing off previously received notifications. Then, it died. And will only turn on while on the charger. I called the tech support line and they couldn't fix it. They said since it is passed the 1 year warranty (by a month), they can't replace it. They offered 25% the purchase of a new watch. Super disappointing!

They did the same to me except only on other models not the versa which is what I have. I am so disappointed.

Bummer, I'm having the same issues and they have been going on for at least 3 months. My 1 year warranty was up last month. Wish I would have contacted them sooner.

I'm having the same problem with mine 😢😢 it has gotten progressively worse in the past 3 months. At first it was shutting off on my wrist, I would put it on the charger and it would work fine for a little bit now I cant even take it off the charger without it shutting off. Then it just started working and now it's doing it again. I'm so frustrated cause I love my Fitbit.

I got the same response. Such bs we pay for something only to have it die immediately after the shortest warranty period. For what people pay for those things they should at least last 3 years minimum. I will never buy or let anyone who is gifting me waste their money on a fitbit again. This happened to me today and I'm furious. I really loved my watch. Too bad I need to find a different company to support.

I am having the same issue. The Versa says it is 100% charged and once I remove it from the charger it turns off and wont turn on unless I put it back to the charger

I have followed all the steps as listed here with the same results. This is my 4th fitbit and yes I love it. I tried Garmin which worked great, but the challenges were not as fun and motivating. Fitbit needs to offer a better warranty, create a better battery or find themselves a new hobby. Failing products immediately after warranty ends is not good in the long term. Anyone have any kohl's cash? That's the only way I'm buying one of their products again.
