My versa accidentally locked itself and I was instructed to go to unlock phone to enter a new code. Well despite repeated attempts the “unlock phone” page would not load. I waited for an hour while it said it was “preparing”. Eventually I removed the device from my phone and tried to re-add it. When I get to the installation step to enter the six digit code on my device I simply get the same flashing “unlock phone” notification. Any advice would be appreciated. I can’t even restart my versa as nothing happens when I push the left and bottom right pin.

Normally the user opens the Fitbit app. Goes to the tracker settings, Device Lock, puts in the phones unlock code, then taps change pin.
How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device?
When you get the tracker setup again, please set the pin for Wallet Only.
Now the the tracker is removed, you will not be able to set it up until the pin lock has been changed. Which now can not be done through the phone.
To do a factory reset
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

You have removed the tracker from your Fitbit account. This now prevents you from unlocking with the phone.
Because the tracker has been removed from the Fitbit account. The following is the only way to unlock the tracker.

I tried this about nine or ten times and got my husband to try it. We both had the same problem that instead of rebooting we just got the “unlock from your phone” message on the screen. I’m not sure how to bypass this and get it to factory reset.
