Anyone with a Versa that is still under warranty, put your device in water to assure it is sealed properly. I had my Versa for 14 months and 2 days. On vacation, I swam with it for the first time. It died. That was the first time it had been exposed to water. My Versa had never been dropped of abused. It obviously hadn't been sealed properly. Fitbit doesn't have a test to assure they are properly sealing their devices. Since it was out of warranty, Fitbit will not replace the defective unit. I hope this warning will help fellow Versa users.

Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't responding after taking it for a swim. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback and for the suggestion about testing the device on water.
