Versa vibrates for calls but not text messages

I have the original versa. It doesn't vibrate when I receive any notifications except for phone calls. I've tried checking the settings and rebooting it.

That's correct. No vibration on the Versa but if I check my versa the notification is there. If i get a phone call my versa vibrates
