Hello
I have a concern and a suggestion!
I’ve been a supporter and user of Fitbit products for many years now. Always updating and buying newer models. Currently I have the versa and love it 90% of the time. When it is frustrating is at the gym. Because of injuries I can no longer run outdoors or on the treadmill so I use the stationary bike. I have to take the versa off my wrist and insert it into my sock to get the steps for my work out! Surely Fitbit could come up with a small fob which links to my versa and can be attached to my shoelace for this application? I’m sure I’m not the only Fitbit user that also rides a stationary bike
I look forward to what Fitbit comes up with to solve this problem in a less uncomfortable and more convenient way.

I'm sure that the couldn't @HBlund in fact there is a request for one.
Then again others are dead set against having any steps counted when the user is not walking

Thanks for stopping by @HBlund ! It's great to see you on board, welcome to the Forums! Great help @Rich_Laue.
Good to know that you're exercising using a stationary bike! It has a lot of benefits. Please know that while you are doing exercise on your stationary bike there is no motion of going forward that your Versa can detect. Your watch is the most basic form is a movement sensor and if the movement is reduce, in example doing spinning. Where your hands wont move in the same way when you walk it will have an impact.
You can use the option "Elliptical" in your Versa to track your biking stats instead. But I'd like to clarify, that as this is not a based step activity your Versa shouldn't be tracking too many steps. We usually suggest to hold the bars while exercising, as if you simply place your hands on your lap it can give you some extra steps.
For this type of activity we should be focusing on the calorie count instead, your Versa will calculate your calories using your BMR (personal information), time and your heart rate information during the activity. It is always a good idea to check the wearing tips this post, to have more accurate amount of calories.
If you notice that your Versa keeps tracking steps while using your stationary bike, you can go ahead and take @Rich_Laue words and vote for this suggestion. You can also check this article that talks about the accuracy of Fitbit tracker and watches.
I'll be around if you have more questions.

There are 20 eexercises, up to 7 may be installed on the Versa. Elliptical is one of them as well as Spinning either will work.
This is explained in the help docs.
How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

I have the same problem odometer on bike says after 60 minutes I have burned approx 498 calories but Fitbit says 123?? I never thought to put it inside my sock lol but I do have a armband that I use for my ipod soI am going to try that around my ankle and see what happens. I am beginning to regret buying the Versa 2 😞
