Hi @SBess - is it possible that your watch is in sleep mode? This automatically dims the display.
To check, go to Quick Settings, this can be long press if the action is not reassigned.
If not go to watch Settings, there adjust the brightness (you must remove Sleep mode from Quiet modes first).
If necessary sync the watch and restart it using the buttons.
