Today, the face of my Versa detached from the watch (occurred while watching TV). The watch was purchased only 6 months ago and has not been stressed by any means. It is always removed prior to showering and exercise level is mild (lots of walking). The warranty states that defects are covered for 1 year but I was advised today via a chat session that they would not honor the warranty and only provide a 25% discount on a new watch? Absolutely the worst customer service experience that I have had for a consumer product. The individual would or could not provide specifics on why despite being asked several times. If that is the final, conclusive response, horrible product & even worst customer service\support.

The Exact same thing happened to me today. My versa 2 watch face just fell off while I was standing in line to make a payment at the post office. I am hoping the warranty covers this defect as I have only had it less than 9 months and I never swim or bathe with it.

I hope you had better luck than I did - I spent almost an hour with customer service who determined, without any explanation, that it was not covered under the warranty. Awful on multiple levels. Please let me know how it goes!

My screen popped off as well after having some trouble with the screen going black and not being responsive. The customer service agent on the chat said since my warranty ended in January they can’t help me and offered me a 25% discount. But why would I want to spend so much money on a watch that has such a problem like this were the screen detached. Maybe they should make their product better

I wanted to let you know that Fitbit changed directions and agreed to honor the warranty... which was 100% the right thing to do. Make sure you get the same!

Good News! I called Fitbit customer service and they were very gracious on the phone and offered to send me a new replacement watch. I just got a notification that the item has shipped. It was really fast and prompt service. Quite impressed especially reading all the other comments.
Seems like a glitch with Versa 2 though- the clock face falling off in less of a year of use.

My My classic iconic face watch just fell off I took off my shirt and the face fell on the floor and I was still wearing my watch so it has been out of warranty for 2 years can I get this repaired? I never swim with it I never get it wet
