Versa water damage? I thought it was water resistant?

Ok so I've  had my Versa for quite a while and I Love it!  I'm pretty cautious with it. I take it off even when I shower. I went in the pool with it for the first time a couple days ago  and it was fine. The next day I went again and an hour later it stopped working. To be honest with you i wasn't even swimming because I dont know how to. I was in the shallow end with my toddler.  I have seen people in these forumns talk about how much they swim with them and never have issues. I noticed that it had some sort of condensation inside. It won't charge now.  I'm  heartbroken to be honest. I don't  think I can afford a new one. Is it repairable or what should I do?

Yeah, no.

Swimproof is a lie that Fitbit has told us that we all ate up.

We have 2 dead versas within hours of swimming with them for the first time. One was dead immediately out of the pool and one took two days to die (had the white screen and everything before eventually going black but still syncing to completely gone.)

And Fitbit won't stand behind their products. They are giving us the run around and telling us that two perfectly functioning versas just died coincidentally the same day.

I filed a report with the Better business bureau. We are livid.
