Versa weather app issues

Both, myself and mum got the Versa special edition yesterday. I set up both my mum and my own watch. However, when I go to weather on mine it does not show current location. My mum seems to be able to see the weather in her current location and the weather in New York but I can't on mine, I can only see the weather that I manually added which was New York, so it does not allow me to see my current locations weather. I'm not really sure what to do. Hope this makes sense. Can anybody help?

Thanks for the update @lexi83.

I am sorry to hear that you have returned your Versa, if you need further assistance with your new Fitbit, feel free to let us know.

Now about the Celsius recommendation, I thing it would be great to have this, please take a look at the Enable Celsius units on weather app without having to change distance to kilometers Ionic/Versa request, vote for it and leave your comment.

It's great to see you around @lexi83.

If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, I recommend checking that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS?. If you change locations, sync your watch to see your new location in the Weather app.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

Hi ya @AlejandraFitbit I tried that already it didn’t work. I ended up sending it back as when I restored it the watch wouldn’t go past putting in the passcode when setting up.  The other thing with weather was it only gives degrees in Fahrenheit but I want it in Celsius I hope that option is available as I’ve ordered another Fitbit which is being delivered tomorrow

Hello, I am trying to use the weather app on the Versa. How ever it says no location... I have given FitBit full access to my location in my settings. What else can I try to get the weather app to work?

How do I look at the weather app on my versa after downloading the weather app

I tapped the Versa icon, tapped on Apps, tapped the gear icon next to Weather, updated my city and synced the phone to the watch- yet I am getting the following error when I go to Weather on my watch      "No location information... Go to the FitBit mobile app to set up weather".

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing that has been suggested actually worked for me. I have turned on location services for the app, location services in the privacy section, rebooted, re-installed, re-cynced, did a rain dance and summoned the ancestral spirits... I even sent a message to Fitbit support but as yet no reply... I have a Fitbit ionic synced through an iPhone 6S... If anyone out there has any ideas, I'm all ears.
