I just bought this a week ago and its fully charged as of last night.
As of a sudden in my day, the screen went black and the little icon in top left of app above the battery is blinking. I know its trying to find it. The versa is not working when I hold the buttons down, I just looked it up on how to restart. HELP!
Should I return to target to get a new one or have FITBIT send me a new one? Maybe its faulty.

To be honest, I’ll return/ exchange it to Target. If you go through Fitbit, they are gonna tell you to perform all these test and stuff and then you have to mail it in. It’s gonna take a long time to go through Fitbit. It’s so much quicker and easier to just return it to where you bought it from before your exchange period expires.

Since a Restart didn't solve your problem, I agree with Jayelo and would return it to Target for exchange.
