I just purchased the Versa in June 2018. All was going get until I started having problems with the app. Fitbit is working on the problem. Now the darn thing is not holding a charge. It died on me mid day. Got home charged it, read the forums. Restarted it, cleaned it, and put it on at 100 and slowly the battery starting depleting. Put it back on the charger charged it again and the same thing happened. So disappointed. I guess I'll have to pack it up and send it back. I was enjoying using Fitbit to tracking my fitness and health. Working on getting healthy and posting my works with Fitbit. Now I have to take time to send it back, wait and hope for the best. Any tips to resolve the problem or just be one of the many that had to get a replacement watch or money back for a better fitness tracker. Smh!!

Hi @mstypeace I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Versa. Have you tried doing a shutdown, not just restarting it? If you haven't, please give that a shot. To shutdown, go the settings, scroll to the bottom, select About and scroll to the bottom again and then select shutdown. Give it a minute or two and then press the left button to get it started again. Fingers crossed that does the trick for you.

Hi @MarciM, I did a shutdown as well. I've tried shutdowns restarts and cleaning. The heartrate sensor on the watch is also not reading. It was reading yesterday morning. Seems like this watching and the Fitbit app is falling apart. I seriously think they should recall the watch.

Yes, I tried the shut down and everything else. I worked with Fitbit customer service and it was determined that I needed a replacement.

It's great to see you around @mstypeace and @MarciM thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this issue, it's great to hear that you contacted our support team and that will be receiving a new unit. At the moment of receiving it, just follow the instructions provide in the help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? to pair the new Fitbit.
Let us know if you need anything else.
