Versa will not power on after hard reset

My Versa was acting strange after the latest firmware update last week. For example, a route that is supposed to be over 6.5 miles showed up as less than 5.5 miles. To see if it improves things, I hard reset it with instruction on the Fitbit site. Now it won't come on. I have tried press the left button only, left and bottom right button, and all 3 buttons. To further isolate the issue, I charged the unit over-night but none of the button combinations did anything to bring the unit

Ok @sn2019 I cant find any hits for hard reset so I'm not sure what was performed.

It sounds like the tracker has been shutdown. The left and lower right buttons should be held in, as if a Soft reset is performed, for at least 8 seconds.

The procedure I used to hard reset is from post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/How-do-I-perform-a-factory-reset-in-my-Versa/m-p/...

As my original post indicated, I have tried pressing left and right bottom buttons together but no luck. Both buttons were pressed for way more than 8 sec but the screen has no sign of life.

Called tech support, told him what I have done and all he can do is offer me a 25% discount coupon for a new device.

Just an update on my dead Versa...

I hold all three buttons after the Versa has been charged for over a day for few minutes and nothing happened. No display of anything on the screen.

Afterward, I left the Versa on the table for a day or so. Again, nothing happened when I pressed all 3 buttons for a few minutes. However, when I press the left and bottom right buttons for 10 seconds or so, the screen showed a battery outline with 0% inside.

If I put the Versa back on the charger for a few hours, pressing the left and bottom right button will not trigger the 0% display. I can get it back if I let the unit sit by itself not charging for a few hours (half a day?).
