Versa will not show contacts for notifications

Recently got a Versa and there is an issue with my contacts from my phone (iPhone 7) where there watch will show notifications from a phone number instead of a contact name. It also is now changing notifications on the phone itself to the phone number instead of the corresponding contact name. Please help!

@Haapy It's other way around. Versa can display only what's shown in your phone's notification centre. If it doesn't appear on Versa, it's because it doesn't appear on the phone itself. Check the contacts on your phone. Are they still there (e.g. for the phone numbers that do not display names in the notifications)? Have you changed the Account associated with the email service that you're using for your contacts (e.g. google, icloud, etc.)?

All of the contacts are still listed on my phone under the correct numbers but all new messages are routed to a new location for the number only instead of under the previous conversations for each contact. I have not changed any of my accounts or settings other than adding Fitbit and allowing permissions to my contact list.

Make sure to back up your contacts before attempting any troubleshooting steps.

Thank you for your help. The links gave me a temporary fix that will work for now. I have ended up just adding the duplicate phone number to the contact name that was previously saved and it works.
