Versa with Huawei P20 Lite

Hi,

Anyone here who had success setting up their Versa to a Huawei P20 Lite running on Android 8.0 (oreo). I'm having problems setting up my versa, til I found that it's not listed from their supported phones; which I feel should be updated since majority of the phones are released a few years back...

Thanks. Typical ! I spoke to them on numerous occasions and did not get any answers either. They rather go on pretending there is no problem rather than investing money. 😐

I upgraded my Phone To Huawei P20 Lite and now my Versa doesn't sync? They said in the store that Versa is combatible with any Android phones. It worked (usually) with old Huawei Honor P8 Lite Phone. So when Will it be combatible with ny New Phone, I'm In panic !!??

Hi, i had the same problem but don't panic I've found a fix that was told to me by someone who had been having the same issues. I've downloaded a app called sync fix for Fitbit see screenshot below and you get a two week trial and follow the instructions and you will never have this prob again. It will continue to work in the background and be constantly in a widget tab. After the trail you will have to pay but it only cost a few ponds for the app as a one off and that's it it's your to keep . But it's solved all my issues I had. Hope this helps you!

It really works! Omg, I had some promlens first with instructios, mut now it seems To work. In Europe permanent backround system costs 4,99€, but it dont work without Fitbit sync app (wich is sad) . Thank you VERY much for the help and merry Christmas!!!!!!!!

The only loophole there is, is if you own a ipad or another type of tablet which you could connect it too. I own a brand new huawei p20 lite myself and got a brand new versa for Christmas. Only to feel beyond annoyed that they arent compatible at all. It sucks that it won't work so I feel you. Guess all we can do is complain or solve the problem ourself

I have a P20 lite and I got a versa two days ago. It took a long time to figure it out but here we go. I tried using my phone for the watch update but it wouldn't work at all, so thankfully I got hold of an iPad and updated it from there. After that, the watch worked really well on my phone after syncing it. This morning, it wasn't syncing and it took a few tries to get it to recognise my phone but it does work. Don't give up trying because it does work. Hope this is useful.

Anyway, does any fellow Huawei user know how to sync WhatsApp messages, default messages and calls to versa?

Hi! I downloaded app called 'Sync Fix for Fitbit' and after that it has worked normally (I'm grateful for that tip) , first 8 days for free and after that I paid 4,99€. But still I don't understand WHY Fitbit doesn't solve this problem with Huawei phones!!!??? I think there's many Huawei users Who May be interested with Fitbit devices....

Exactly. Maybe they just have contracts with Samsung and Apple? Don't know. But thrilled for the app.

It looks like Fitbit are a crap company that can't produce a ready product.

Shame as I have used there products for a number of years , just a shame as there products are so unreliable.

Agreed on so many level. I've tried everything to restart my watch after a factory reset and no respons. Tried charging it and restarting it, but nope. What sucks is that it died with 97% on it so I highly doubt its the power, just that fact that this is indeed a crap product with insane unreliabilety

I did find a 3rd party app "sync fix for fitbit" it seams to do the job, but not sure if helps with all functions. will have to reply when it's been running for a bit

Good news. I too have struggled with getting my Huawei to sync but was asked if I wanted to do a regular update this morning. Lo and behold it started to sync straight after phone update finished! Hope others are successful with this too.

Oh wow, can't say I have had the same. But fingers crossed, was it a phone update or versa update?

It was a phone update from the device manager. It came just as I was
considering getting a new phone as I love my Fitbit and was gutted I
couldn't get it working.

I have exactly the same problem too.  Bought my phone 3 weeks ago and already have syncing problems with Fitbit and various other devices.  Seeing that Fitbit is a much smaller company than Huawei, Fitbit needs to make amendments here and fast.
