Versa with Moto g5 Plus - No call notifications

Hi there,

I'm a new Fitbit user, I just bought a Versa to work with my Moto G5 Plus. I didn't know about the supported devices list at all when I bought it. Luckily most things work anyway.

But, the 'call reject/accept' function does not work at all. I do get notifications for messages and whatsapp and all that. As a former Pebble user, I would really love to have the 'call reject/accept' function to work with my phone. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if it will be resolved in a future update?

Hey @Ma.L, it is great to see new faces around! That's right my friend, the Moto G5 hasn't been officially released as a compatible device to work with Fitbit trackers and watches. However, I can't guarantee that it will work or not, because just like you, I've heard from some other users that said that their Fitbit devices sync with it but sometimes won't get notifications or the connected GPS ins't working, etc. So all of those inconveniences are happening because that phone model might be under testing. But as I always suggest them, take a look the troubleshooting in this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your kind reply. That's alright, I tried the things in your link already. I'll just wait and see if it gets better in the future 🙂

You are more than welcome @Ma.L! In these cases, I can only ask you to be patient while our team is working on adding more phone models to be full compatible with Fitbit devices. I know it's taking time, but as you know, there are many cellphones that use Android as their OS, so it will take a little bit more.

If you have further questions or comments, let me know!

My Versa works fine with my Moto G5S Plus. The notification is a few seconds delayed.
