Reading the many posts from other with the same problem, I see that there is a chance that FiBi will replace the device. I’m in contact with them via Twitter right now.
Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 for a replacement, but I’m with you, time to start researching another brand for me because this is ridiculous 🙄.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Verleec, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community @Tremel. How you doing @NellyG?

Thanks for posting the steps that you've tried with your Versa. Sorry to hear that this is not responding, you did an excellent job researching for troubleshooting steps. But let's try a couple of steps that might help to bring to life your Fitbit.

I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Versa. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.

Please try to restart your Fitbit, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?

Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.

Let's give it a try and please keep me posted. If this doesn't help I'll be glad to request a case for you.

I am having this same problem. My screen wont turn on. It's completely black. At first nothing would display but I could see a faint light in the background. Many posts said to try restarting several times so I did and nothing. I am so disappointed with this. Ive had my versa for less than a year. I got it March 2019. The return/warranty help on the website is confusing and wants an order number. I don't have one because I purchased new from a 3rd party online. I need help. From what I'm seeing this began with the last update and hundreds of people are having the same problem. I got my fitbit to get healthy. Please help. Thank you...

It appears I am not the only one with this problem. My versa won't charge, has a black screen, and nothing works. If this is from an update is something being done? We can't use them if they don't work.
