My fitbit versa when put on charge, shows the fitbit icon loading for 5 -10 seconds then dims and vanishes. It isn't charging

Hi there, @Vatsalp. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not charging. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that there are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated. If you are charging your Versa on the wall socket, try using another CE certified USB adapter for low energy devices.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend following the tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

I fully charged my Fitbit versa 2 before I went to bed last night, it seemed to be fine when I got up this morning, now 12 hours later the battery is completely dead. This shouldn't be happening, it seems that after all the latest updates something has gone disastrously wrong. My watch will show that I've done say 4 miles but when I sync it the app will say I've done say 3.5 miles but yet the steps are identical. Come on Fitbit get things sorted.

I'm having the same issue. Charge went really quickly one day and then it can no longer charge. Things I have tried are:

  • Turning Fitbit on/off
  • Reset
  • Cleaning contacts and pins
  • Using different charger and plug socket letc...
  • Leaving it to charge for several hours.

It seems that it can turn on, but not actually charge. Before I reset it, it was struggling to connect via Bluetooth to my phone. Since I reset it, it won't connect for me to set it up. I try to set it up but the app doesn't recognise it and says it's looking for the device to connect.

The back green lights aren't on and don't flash either. Says batter is too low to connect on the app.

When left on the charger, the screen will come up (the one saying to set up the device), but after a while it just turns itself off.
