Versa won't complete the firmware update

I just purchased a Versa and the firmware will not update I have a Samsung S7 with the Oreo update. I also tried on a IPhone 6plus and no luck either. I followed the steps for bluetooth and over wifi i have a previous case 25499685.

I have unpaired and repaired

uninstalled and reinstalled the app

Home wifi and work wifi 

please assist

@topshelf Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't updating its firmware. Were you able to set it up in the first place or do you need to still complete the setup? Try restarting it by doing the following:

 

1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again. 

 

Restart your phone and remove all bluetooth devices from the bluetooth list on it. Make sure there aren't other bt devices nearby (like bt mouse, speakers, headphones, etc.) as they may interfere with the connection. After this retry the setup and firmware update.

Yes I have restared it multiple times firmware will not install continuous
fails.

@topshelf sorry for the delay in my response and to hear that you still can't update your Versa's firmware. Since the issue is persisting you will need to let our Support team know about the issue. They will review the case and provide options for you. You will get an email from them.
