Versa won't connect or update

ANSWERED

I haven't used my watch in quite some time. It doesn't seem to be staying connected to bluetooth or wifi, I honestly can't tell.

On the watch face, I have an annoying message saying to connect to limeade app which I don't even know what that is. If it has to do with my clock face or widgets, I can't change anything currently while I can't connect.

On the fitbit app, there is a message to update my firmware but when I try to I get a "can't connect to fitbit.com" message. I have restarted both my phone and watch. I have reinstalled the app. I have done all this with it plugged in and not, and fully charged.
Now I made the mistake of deleting my device from the app in an attempt to just add it from step one, but now when I go to add device nothing comes up. I get kind of a grey box like it is trying to load something but nothing happens.

I am immensely frustrated and wishing I just left it all alone. From my end, it seems like all the problems are stemming from the app itself.
My bluetooth and wifi are connected to everything else just fine and Versa on it's own is working, but now I am at a loss.

Hi there, @triviamber. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not connecting to your phone. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've done and before considering other options, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa from your phone's Bluetooth (or make sure it's no longer showing up there) and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.
  • Once your Versa is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
