I just set up my new Fitbit Versa SE and my new Jabra Elite 65t wireless earbuds. No matter what I do, I cannot get the earbuds to connect to the Fitbit. The Jabra Elite's show up in the bluetooth devices list, but each time I select I get "Connection Failed". I have "rebooted" and shut down / restarted the Fitbit numerous times. I have powered off and back on the earbuds numerous times. Both devices are completely charged. The earbuds are NOT connected to any other bluetooth device (i.e. my iPhone). Even shut bluetooth off on my iPhone. I am at a loss and VERY frustrated with my Fitbit. Can anyone help? Thanks!

@dstegall2366 that's what I meant by asking if they were paired (not asking about connected) with other device. You need to reboot them and put into a pairing mode again! I'm glad it got sorted out! 😊

@dstegall2366 And the earbuds are not paired with the phone either? Are you able to connect Versa with any other audio devices? Like BT speaker or other BT headphones? Just to test it.

Ok, I tried connecting the Fitbit to a couple different JBL bluetooth speakers. It doesn't even find either of the devices. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Check that. It DOES connect to the JBL speaker now. I'm on the phone with Fitbit support to see if they can help with the Jabra Elite 65t earbuds. So far I feel like I'm speaking to someone who's never heard of a bluetooth device....

Alright, I figured it out. It's not the Fitbit, it was the Jabra earbuds. There is a way to reboot the earbuds (Press and hold (10 seconds) the Multi-function button on the right earbud until the LED flashes purple). Once I did that and attempted to re-pair on the Fitbit, it connected fine. Hope this might help someone else.

I’ve tried everything including resetting the Jabra earphones with the purple light. Have you encountered any more issues??

I have the same problem with the Ionic. Originally paired and the next day was disconnected from both the watch and my Iphone.. When I tried to repair it would not find the buds or phone. Contacting Jabra I was told to reset the buds and re-download the update. After doing all that it repaired with the phone and after turning my phone off, it paired with the buds. When I stopped using the buds and used my phone the my watch would not recognize the buds again. I had to delete them from the watch and repair with my phone off! This cant be normal operating where every time I use my watch I have to pair the buds again by deleting them and reinstalling.

I believe you have described my same issue. I have Jabra 65T Elite Active earbuds
1. I am able to pair and connect only if i completely reset the Jabra 65T Elite Active earbuds
2. Once paired, if I use my earbuds for my phone, or even simply store them in the recharging case, then the Versa says it cant find the device (even though it is listed and was working moments before).
Perhaps i am missing something, but ???

i hope that is not the "normal" situation and that they are working on a fix.
Now i cant even get it to pair...even after resetting both devices. It wont give the error message but just keeps trying to pair until the Jabras go off after about 5 min.

I have had similar issues between the Jabra's and the Versa. Usually, resetting the Jabra's (purple light) did the trick, but then that stopped working too. The Versa would find the Jabra's, but the connection would never happen, it would just keep trying to pair. Finally, I factory reset the Versa. It was a pain, but I was able to pair the two again. I hope this isn't something I'll have to do regularly.

Okay, I have a similar problem. I rebooted jabra 65t several times as you said. I go to bluetooth setting of my versa 2 and try to repair my jabras. When I click on the option of the jabra that showed on bluetooth options, it automatically kicks me out and the menu of adding a new device shows again. I repeat this process and hold the multifunction button for 10 seconds until purple light but my fitbit just doesn't connect to my jabras. Jabras keep repeating "to connect, go to the bluetooth menu of the mobile device and select the jabra product from the list" What would you guys suggest?

I wouldn’t waste your time contacting Fitbit. The customer service people are arrogant insincere and advise waiting’s few days and try again or wait for the next update. My ionic stopped pairing with all brands of phones. Fitbit also told me they were aware of the problem and working on it. Before my watch stopped I too had Jabra problems where it would sync fine one day the next had to delete and reinstall to finally not pairing at all. Fitbit told me my case was being referred to a higher level. In other words you are on your own.

Apparently multiple airbud brands do not pair with Fitbit.
I use the Taotronics Soundliberty buds. They won't pair with my Ionic either, no matter what I do or try. They show up in the BT connect list. When you tap , the Ionic says "connecting" forever
Fitbit has been promising to look into the issue for more than a year now. And still no solution.
Very poor performance if you ask me, if fitbit can't even fix something that simple and basic. Pretty much everyone else who writes software that connects their stuff to BT audio devices can do this right. Bunch of amateurs, if you ask me.
