Versa won't connect to my phone anymore

My versa stopped syncing so I followed the steps and ended up unpairing it with my phone and taking the device off the app. I then kept getting stuck at the reconnecting stage, once I'd put the pin code from the watch screen into the app it just just stuck for a long time in connecting mode. I repeated this several times. I turned my Bluetooth off and on again. I deinstalled the app and reinstalled it. I am still continously stuck at the same stage of reconnecting my device to my phone. What can I do?

Hi @Katioslims, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't connect with your phone. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch again and see if your it connects to your phone properly

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I've given up with this piece of crap.  Owned the Versa2 for under a year and it suddenly refused to sync.  Tried all the old fixes, but nothing..

So I removed device from my Samsung A10, now it won't even recognise it. Seems there's a problem between updated Android Bluetooth and the old one left on the Versa2  Why the Fit**ahem** owners can't sort it is beyond me

This was my first and last Fit**ahem** - back to Garmin for me, for quality.

Family & friends advised too - why waste money on a label that delivers crap.. FIT4**ahem**
