Versa won't connect with phone

A few days ago, my Versa randomly died. It had about 90% charge but then went to 0%. I assumed that maybe it was hot or glitched. I charged it and reset it, then it was fine. Today, my watch completely reset and un-synced itself from my phone. I tried resetting and charging it but it will not reconnect. It’s less than a year old so it shouldn’t be doing this. Any thoughts on how I can re-sync my watch? I tried getting help through FitBit chat but it’s apparently down right now.

Hi @KSizer, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa won't re-connect to your phone. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if it connects with your phone properly

Keep me posted on the outcome.
