Versa won't hold a charge anymore

Hello - I have a Versa (first Gen) that have had for many years. In the last 3 days I have been having problems getting it to hold a charge. I have change the charger to make sure that is not the problem. Cleaned the back and the charger to ensure nothing is blocking the contact points. Reset it. Turned off everything that I don't need. Brought it down to 0% and the rest it as well. I am lucky if I can get 10 hrs out of a full charge. Is there anything that I am missing I have looked for any kind of firmware updates as well as that has been an issue in the past. Is there anything that I am missing? I really don't want to get a new one if i dont have to. I just bought a new band for this one a week ago.

Hi there, @JWmom2009. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

As you may know, your Versa battery should last up to 4 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or animated clock faces. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Hi - thank you I have done all of that and tracked how much of the percentage that I loose every hour. I started fully charged at 7:55am and by 8:55am I was down to 88%. The following hour I was down to 78%. It continued to drop from there currently I am at 13% (1:15pm) and will have to recharge again. What would be my next step?

I have the same issue with a versa 2 since updating the software on the watch, the only thing I have changed is I applied the latest update and re enabled NFC card payments.
