Versa won't hold a charge off charger

My Fitbit Versa no longer holds a charge when taken off the charger. When on the charger it charges and functions but when taken the off the battery drains immediately. I have cleaned as per your instructions. I'm not sure what else to do to get it to stay functioning. My habits and usage have not changed since owning the Versa.

Thank you.

I wanted to update you on my fitbit battery problem. I have done all the troubleshooting steps. I have cleaned my fitbit per instructions a few different times. My fitbit charges to 100 percent and it would go for 24 hours before being completely drained. Now it is going around 12 to 14 hours before draining completely. I thought it may be from use but I charged it and just let it sit on my desk and it drained in less than a day. I do not receive notifications or stream music. I just use it as a fitness tool and watch. I also cannot download the firmware update for my galaxy s7. I am not sure how to proceed.

Thank You

Peter
