Versa won't hold a charge

My Versa used to hold a charge for 4 days max but recently has been holding a charge for no more than 2 days. Just started cleaning the contacts. Please help!

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the battery is draining fast. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your watch. After this, monitor your Versa and see if the battery doesn't drain quickly.

Hi JuanJoFitbit, 

An update on my fitbit not holding charging.

 

I've tried the tips from list you provided me and basically have no positive feedback. Now it just seems like it drains faster because I'm having to put it on the charge dock everyday. 😔  I do appreciate the tips but I have no luck unfortunately.

My Versa lite was like this since I got it in May, would only hold roughly 14-16 hours of charge!

I tweeted Fitbit, they made a case to look into it and after emailing results of how long it took my fitbit to totally drain from full charge I was offered a replacement as I was still within warranty ☺️ Replacement came within a week and it’s held the battery very well! Might be worth looking into

Thank you so much for the feedback. I will have to find a way to contact them to report my problem. It's been almost two years since I had my fitbit.
