I’m having the same problem with my Fitbit Versa.

I’ve checked the suggestions and nothing has applied. I wore it while swimming two weekends in a row and now that it has been submerged it appears the battery is draining much more quickly than before.

Any suggestions? It seems to me like the unit is not actually water-resistant, though it should be.

This has nothing to do with extending the battery life,  before Versa got wet it would stay charged for 6 days, the versa got wet (which it states you can swim with this) after I was working on my pool the versa only stays charged for 2 hours.

@Moranem It's nice to have you on board!

Sorry to hear about your Versa not holding a charge after you swam with it. As you said you can actually swim with your Versa. Since the issue persists I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.

Mine has the same issue. It was holding a charge for 5-6 days and then two weekends ago I got caught in a rainstorm and ever since then it lasts less than a day.

Mine is the same. I would only need to charge every 4 days...yesterday I went swimming and it died within 30 minutes. Charged it for 2 hours until it was at 100 % and put it back on and went to bed...woke up and now it says it is about to die again. I am so sad about this. Anyone know how to fix this? Will a factory reset work, or do I need a new versa now?!!

I have the same issue. Went in the pool with it last weekend and it's not holding a charge longer than 12 hours.

I gave up long ago and got an Apple Watch. This was my second Fitbit that crapped out on me so I gave up.

I’m about to take the same route.  This will be my third.  I was happy with the watch for six months.

I'm having the same issue, got wet on Friday night jn the rain and now won't hold a charge for more than 2hours. Tried live chat who asked if I'd tried charging to 100% and holding the reset, once I said I'd done this without any change they left the chat!

Clearly not waterproof, sadly out of warranty now as iv had it 18months 🤦‍:female_sign:

Same thing happened to me. My Versa3 used to hold the charge pretty well - up 4-5 days. Used it during my swimming laps last week, and now it won't hold charge for even a whole day.

Same thing happened to me! This is my third one as well! It is also my last one! I can't keep replacing these every time they get wet and crap out! And this company never resolves any issues if you are wondering! You can pay them more money and they might send you a replacement! Give me a break!
