Versa won't pair after a factory reset

Hello,

I have a versa 2 that I am upgrading.  In this process, I factory resetted the device and now cannot be paired again.  I have done the following:

reset device again

Reset phone

unpaired bluetooth connection

Turned on/off bluetooth on phone

uninstalled/Reinstalled app

Forced closed app

When setting up, I choose the Versa2, then as it just searched, then will not pair.  I keep getting message to turn device on (Which it is).  Any other ideas?

Hi there, @kgowen4444. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Fitbit device is still not pairing despite the steps you've done so far. I will do my best to help you to sort this out! 

As a first approach, I'd recommend connecting your Fitbit device to the charger before you begin the setup process. Even during the setup process I still suggest leaving the Fitbit device connected. 

Nonetheless, while reading the last part of your post, I was wondering if maybe you don't have the Versa 2 but other Versa smartwatch? Have you tried selecting Versa, Versa Lite, or Versa 3 instead of Versa 2? If you haven't done so yet, give it a shot and see if the process goes through.

I have the exact same problem and have also tried the same fixes. Very frustrating
