Versa won't pair after swimming and glitching.

Just got the Versa (after Surge died) at the beginning of June. Have swam a few different times and then after the last time the device started glitching (buttons and swiping not working). When it did work I switched faces and then the time was off.

- updated phone (which is on device list)

- restarted phone

- restated bluetooth

- restarted Fitbit (I think... press and held left button and lower right until the logo came up)

- removed Fitbit app and then tried to Setup Device - will find device but won't pair (says bluetooth issues)

It sounds as if you have tried most things. Try removing any other bluetooth pairing from your phone and remove (or turn off) any other bluetooth device within bluetooth range (about 30 feet). And try again. My previius phone (which was also on the list) was a bit flakey with syncing, but doingbthe above always fixed it. Let us know how you go

I will give it a try although I only have 1 other device paired. My phone had previously connected, paired and synced fine right up until the Fibit started glitching after being in the water.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I turned off all bluetooth devices or removed them from the area and it finally synced. That's fantastic but now I'm realizing that the device is working but only partially. Seems when I swam with it and then it glitched that it damaged my heart rate monitor. Now I don't see the green light on the back and I'm not getting any heart rate readings. And, of course, the sleep monitoring is also not working.

Guess I'll be contacting support to see about a replacement and then never swimming with the "waterproof" watch again. Maybe they'll fix the problem, not that current users will benefit. Such a same.
