In my troubleshooting being unable to sync my Versa with the app, I unpaired it and now it won't reconnect at all and after just a few seconds the app says that pairing times out.
I've restarted my Versa, restarted my phone, restarted Bluetooth, reinstalled the Fitbit app, etc etc., and even followed the Android 9.0 suggestions even though I'm running 8.0 and my settings say there are no updates available.
Super frustrating!

Blue tooth cannot even FIND my watch anymore. I've tried 4 different phones ... none of them see my watch anymore. The only thing I have not tried is a factory reset. This watch has malfunctioned on a monthly basis for over 14 months... bought it for my Mother's Day gift for myself. Bad investment. I should have returned it ASAP.
Currently trying to work with the Sansung A51 .. and it was working pretty well until a few days ago. I thought the problem was my Moto Play Droid phone ... Fitbit Versa .... everything is updated according to the apps and infos.

I have tried everything suggested on my S10 with my Versa. Also used my older phones tablet everything. Will not pair or even recognize my versa is even present. Read all the post here and seems like a huge brush off to me. Considering the fit bit manufacturers don't care about fixing their product and feel that making excuses for every situation is adequate then it seems I am going shopping for a new watch. My one requirement is that it will not be a fitbit or anything remotely related to this company. Thanks for nothing.

I'm Having the same issue. After the last update, I lost my continual heart rate information which affected my premium sleep information. When I tried to do all the usual reset, remove & replace app, remove and repair Versa, nothing worked. So I made the mistake of chatting with support on line. They made me remove my Alta HR from my account which has been there for years (I use it while my Versa is charging). Then made me factory reset and the Versa was a brick. I was able to get it to pair with my husband's phone/account and then I finally got it to pair with my account.
Unfortunately, I have no info on the today screen, although if I tap on the icons the data is there. Heart rate is not there at all and my sleep insight through premium is not available. This is very disappointing because I am having difficulty with sleep and specifically signed up for premium so that I could get some additional insight.
When I pull the screen down to sync, the process starts, but then gives me a message that the sync failed. This is very frustrating because it is syncing the data but just not displaying it.

Went to the Fitbit Facebook page .. and asked for help. It took many days of them sending my case to the support team and I brought the results back to the FB page (where someone actually was reading what I wrote) and they agreed that I had an issue. But they finally did something. It probably helped that a relative loaned me an iphone from the list and my problem persisted.
If you don't have one of these phones ... they probably won't help you. Even if your watch worked perfectly before their firmware update.

I ended up doing it from my laptop using the website not the phone app and having it in charger (even though it was fully charged).

I'm trying to pair a Versa 2, on a Samsung A5 (2017), running Android 8.
I succeeded more than once, but the Bluetooth connection just don't last more than 1 day.... so I can't get message notifications.
Sometimes it synchronised my sport data... but maximum once per day, and not when I try to force synchronisation from the fitbit app.
I placed the app in the "never exit this app for battery optimisation " section, so it is always run in background...

I am on my third Fitbit and I have had my Versa for a little under 6 months and it's happening again. I added fitbit notifications and finally my fitbit went through the initial process of setting up but now....40 minutes later it will not connect or sync again. I have HAD IT with Fitbit!!!

I bought a Versa Lite May 20. Been working fine with my Samsung A20s. September 4 it starts not syncing, I get it to go , then it stops again. Oct. 3 was on chat, they helped get it back on. Today not working, new chat says it's A20s not supported. By reading all the previous posts for the previous 2 years it seems Fitbit is not "fully supported" on ANY Androids! Too bad mine did not start acting up sooner so I could have returned it...but now my loss. Fitbit sucks.
