I saw that my Fitbit needed an update, but hadn't paired to my phone in 2 days, so it couldn't complete the update over wifi or Bluetooth. After trying all of the troubleshooting tips I could find, I made the mistake of unpairing it from my Bluetooth. Now, I can't even connect it to my phone, although it's not like it matters because I don't get notifications when it won't sync. I have a stable wifi connection, and my phone is completely up to date. Any tips? I am so frustrated and about to give up.

It's an update issue. Another post said they were working on it.

I know that everyone is having a problem syncing their phone and watch. I was having that problem too, which is the reason that I unpaired my watch from my phone, thinking it would help. Well now I can't even connect my watch to my phone. There is no watch connected to my fitbit account because I had it forget it. When I go to set up the watch again, there is always an error, which I'm assuming is different than the update issue, but I could be wrong

When I was troubleshooting mine I did the same thing. I did a factory reset on my fitbit and reconnected it as a new device. Still wouldn't pair after the update on the tracker. If you have a windows 10 laptop I would try that. I was able to put it on my account again that way. Fitbit app is in the Microsoft store.
