Versa won’t pair with phone, won’t sync, won’t keep time

My Versa worked fine until around June 22. It quit syncing and then it wouldn’t pair with my iPhone 7 Plus. I’ve turned it off and on numerous times, tried removing it from the app, etc. Now the app says “looking” and the Phone says “not paired” and the Versa shows yesterday’s date and incorrect time. It’s probably a year old. Not used the entire year.

Have you removed the tracker from your phones Bluetooth setting.

Restarted the tracker, and phone? Better yet shutdown both the Versa and phone.

First step would be to not remove the tracker from your account when the tracker and the app are not talking.. Doing so simply adds problem since we have not fixed the sync issue.

I’ve tried this, tried again just now. Still doesn’t work. My tracker is a day behind and won’t pair with my phone.

Is the tracker setup and attached to your Fitbit account @Fleegle57?

We are not concearned with having the tracker paired to the phone. The Fitbit app will pair the tracker if the app needs it to be.

It was. Then one of the suggestions said to remove it and try again. I removed it but it can’t find it now.

Yes @Fleegle57 removing a tracker from the phone often helps. Removing a non syncing tracker from the Fitbit account will only add more problems. Before it may be setup we still need to fix the non sync issue.

Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
