Versa won't receive text messages from my Android phone

Hi. My versa has issues with Text notifications. I receive notifications from my other apps and only sometimes from text messages. I have down all the troubleshooting as suggested. The only thing that seems to work is a restart at least a couple of times a day! This is very frustrating. Friends with Apple watches seem to have not problems.

Any suggestions! 😠

Hi there, @Padre4. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

Since you're on iOS device and text messages is the only notification not coming through, I'd like to know if those messages are actually iMessages? I also have an iPhone and I had a similar inconvenience, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always". If this steps don't work for you, I suggest taking a look at the help article: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

Hope this helps.

@Padre4 I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

We're glad to announce that the latest Fitbit app version for Android (3.43.1) has been released, which should solve the issue with the notifications not coming through your watch. For more information, see How do I update the Fitbit app?

As always, make sure that your phone has a compatible operating system installed, it should Android 8.0 or higher. Click here for more details.

Hope that helps.

The notifications only come after i restart the versa. I do this 2-3 times
a day. Very disappointing! That and the fact that it only down swipes when
it wants to! What a waste of money.

Thanks for your time.

I have chatted online. All troubleshooting was exhausted. At the time my
Versa was unable to be setup again after a factory reset.( I was able to
eventually to setup the Versa)The tech said they would check regarding
warranty. It is past warranty and I was offered 35% off of a new purchase.
I am so apprehensive regarding buying a new Fibit. This is my third Fitbit
and may be my last. They seem to have a built in redundancy! As said before
very frustrating!

Thanks again.
