Versa won't record sleep or heart rate

This is my second Versa 2 in a month. The first one was replaced by Fitbit, it didn't record sleep or heart rate. I got the replacement 2 weeks later even though it was on a FedEx truck in my city for a week (that's a Fedex issue though). I got the new watch, set it up, recorded great for the first 3 days, did the update that just came out and my watch hasn't recorded sleep since. I deleted the app, removed thewthe from Bluetooth and readded, and reset the watch. My old Charge Fitbit never missed a beat, I need a fix or my money back. I am getting increasingly irritated by this technology or lack there of.

Hi @Willof71, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not recording sleep or heart rate. I totally understand how you feel about this. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, monitor your watch and see if it tracks and records your heart rate and sleep.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
