Versa won't respond to anything

So about a week ago my Versa 1 ( first generation 2018) battery died- I charged it and was going to sync since the time was when it had died. Long story short- I have rebooted phone, app and watch! I have done everything it says to do! It won’t sync to Bluetooth and when it did (one day) the time was still wrong and then I went to re sync it didn’t even show on my Bluetooth- my tracker is due for update but I don’t have WiFi! But the time watch itself was working just wrong time but not sync to phone! Well now it won’t stay on after charging all night numerous times! It will be on for a hour (guessing) when I look it’s off and just shows the blue Fitbit logo might turn on might not! Help is needed - I have NEVER had a issue like this before !

Hi there, @Spark86. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

Since you've mentioned that your Versa is stuck on the Fitbit Logo, please try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

If you can't get started with your Versa, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

So not sure if my previous message went through but I’ve done all the above- nothing now just has the Fitbit logo won’t charge -

I have a versa 2 and it's not responding to anything can't even turn it off

I've got same issue.  Noticed I wasn't getting my messages on my Fitbit anymore, didn't care.  But went to charge and it won't charge.  Cleaned contacts, nothing works.  Went through above steps to unpair, restart, nothing works.  This is only 2 years old and it's ridiculous.

I have the Versa 1 (when it first came out) so mine is almost 4 years old! But it’s in great condition not scratched up worked great until 2 weeks ago! I’ve done everything ! And now I can’t get it to stay charged it will charge time is either 4-12 hours off then goes to correct time when I was linked to work! I even tried on my sons iPad ! It tracked my steps not sure how tho!

Mine charges says 100% then after I looked at it 30 mins or hour later it’s dead like wth- if it’s a battery then how do I get a new battery. I even removed it from my app thinking I needed to reset it up well now since I can’t get it to sync to Bluetooth in my phone I can’t even get it back on my app!

I have done all the above more then once! I have even removed it from my app think t maybe a totally re setup well now I can’t get it set up it won’t sync to Bluetooth at all and battery won’t stay charge. I really wish I could get some answers ?? If it’s the battery how do I go about getting a new one ? Something would be great other then trying to the above request cause that didn’t work

@Spark86 this is a bug due to the latest update on the FitBit app for Android 3.64.5 and iOS 3.64. Versa 2 is having the same issue. 
there currently is not an ETR for the issue, but support states to make sure app is up to date and all that.

Mine was versa 2. They tell me there's no fix, off warranty.  Sent me a 35% off code for new one. Better than a poke in the eye but it sucks it didn't last more than 3 years. So I ordered a new one. Nothing lasts anymore. 😞

My versa 2 blackscreened yesterday. Wont turn on at all .It was fully charged  at the time .

They're already on sale. So they really don't give 35% off full price. It's
cheap enough so I bought one, but it's a come on. I think Amazon has same
price and I probably would have already received it. Still waiting on
shipping for mine.

My app is up to date my software is up to date I can’t update tracker cause I don’t have WiFi but I tried last week haven’t checked to see if it worked! But if they get this fixed maybe it will start working ?

Same problem only to be told its out of warranty that there is nothing they can do.offered me 35% to buy another one ( having a laugh) I asked if the could send me out a charger so that I could check if maybe its just the charger but no theyvare just sorry for my inconvenience & then asked me to review with a survey ha!

Wonder if the chips for these were made in China? Once the warranty is up,
all bets are off.
