Versa won't stay connected to Bluetooth

It seems my Versa is working as it should functionally however it wont stay connected to Bluetooth long enough to fully sync, update apps, receive notifications, etc... In the fitbit app under my account it will say "looking..." for a while then "connected..." for a second, then "syncing..." for a second then just go back to "looking...". So i went to my iPhone Bluetooth settings and can see that it connects for a second or two then just disappears, then connects and disappears and continues the cycle. Anyone else having this specific problem? Any suggestions to fix it? I've restarted the app, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, turned my bluetooth on and off, restarted my phone, restarted the Versa. Nothing seems to work.

I had a Versa and that happened.  I thought that Versa could replace my old Pebble.  It didn't.  Constantly saying that can't connect with phone - especially over night.  A year or two later - I just got the Versa 2.  Now I remember why I stopped using my original Versa.  The same thing happens.  It never happened with Alta, Blaze, or my Inspire HR (which I just went back to using).  It seems to somehow be related to having to be connected to wifi to initially connect watch to phone that you don't have to do for other devices.  I have tried all the steps - turning off phone, turning off bluetooth, restarting watch, deleting profile, rebooting watch, etc.  Works for a while - and then get the typical "no device found."  Maybe google's involvement will help.

This so annoying! Why has it started to do this I’ve done everything to try and fix it just will not stay connected and it seems to be losing time because of it. Really fed up with it

So sorry that you are having the same problem. I gave up after the 4th Versa replacement failed in less than 6 months and bought a Garmin. I miss the look the Fitbit but I couldn't take the frustration. Good luck.

I have been trying for five days to get my versa lite to stay synced to my iPhone. Ever since I updated fitbit it won’t stay synced. It’s very frustrating and it says it will connect for a second or two and then drop it. I have deleted the app, reinstalled my watch to connect to fitbit and tried all the other ticks but it doesn’t work. I’ve had this since Christmas and it shouldn’t be doing this after 9 months. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately it seems Tech Support is no help. I’ve actually wet back to my Charge 2 as that works no problem!

i have went through 3 Versas in less than 18 months, bottom Line... Versa Sucks!

Do NOT waste your money or time on Versas, I hear Samsung’s are great
